What I Went Through Online As A Beginner!

If I tell you what I went through before actually finding my footing online you’ll pity my condition even though I don’t want you to pity my status but I want you to learn “one or two” things from what I went through. Here is my story!

I got to know about internet marketing in 2006{ that’s five years ago now} when I attended a forex seminar in my country{Nigeria} which I later jettisoned due to lack of funds because hey! you’ll need huge capital to do forex trading.

So I abandoned that, I was going to the cybercafe{that’s the Nigerian language for internet browsing centers} frequently to check mails and majorly chat with friends. You know! Everybody likes chatting especially youths that’s why facebook is hottest right now!

Then I got to know about an advertising program that supposedly pays me what you’ll refer to as “peanuts” for clicking on some ads{this is called PTC/PTR} but there’s this particular PTC site called link2communion that captivated me then, it says “make $2800 for clicking on ads” Wow!

So I looked at it and said to myself “This must be a quick way of making money online” and I went for it and was burned, I got burnt in the sense that I lost my hard earned $20 due to my ignorance as a beginner. unknowingly to me this was actually one out of the numerous scam site online!

Later on I went into other areas like surveys, payperpost, cpa, affiliate marketing, dataentry, and the likes. There’s no aspect of internet marketing have not tested.

I have tried it all but none have given me financial independence! Why? because I wasn’t doing the right thing as I always looking for quicker ways of making money online. Typical of a beginner who believes money fly around online like leaves falling from a tree.

I remember when I was trying out affiliate marketing then, I would search for any product{whether low quality or not}, get the affiliate link and start promoting just like that!

Telling people to buy! buy! buy! and at the end of the day nobody would even look at what am selling twice. Why are people not buying because I was “hard selling” but of-course I didn’t know this as a beginner and had no one to tell me!

Later on, I discovered blogging through wordpress, then I created a back pain blog with it which was doing fine but was not giving me the kind of money I had expected because I was impatient and greedy so I drop it.

Much later I discovered Google’s blogger as well! In less than few days I had learned to use the interface due to it’s simplicity.

I created several blogs with it on various topics but there’s these particular one that I maintained even up till now the blog still exists, it was on back pain. I called it www.backspains.blogspot.com a very informative blog on back pain that educate the minds of the average back pain sufferer.

The major driving force was just to help beginners coming in online because I discovered of all the blogs and websites we have online there is no one that is centered around new entrepreneurs.

The truth is online “nobody wants to assist anybody”, that’s the mentality people has, everyone wants to make money at the expense of the other person. Just like the saying goes “every man for himself and God for us all”.

So if you are a beginner online and hoping to footing, the first thing you want to do is get information by reading anything from books to articles to newsletters, etc because information is power. So that you don’t fall into wrongs hands who will take advantage of your innocence.

My Guest Post Was Declined Again!

I don’t even know what’s wrong with me. What do you think is wrong with a guy whose site is probably the most promising and fastest growing site online?

I have tried several times to guest post on various site but to no avail. I have tried 2createawebsite, problogger, youngprepro, and the rest they all turned me down.

Infact, I think I should receive an award for having the most turned down guest post in recent times. This is really frustrating for me that I just can’t get things right.

What’s the reason for turning me down? Well, they complain that my post is too generic, common and found on most blogs. What the heck! I wrote this post with my very own hands and they are purely my idea, so I don’t understand what they all mean by being generic!

Although my site is receiving trickles of traffic from search engines and other areas but that isn’t what I want, I want something concrete like receiving 1000 visitors a day will be my type of traffic. That’s a good start for any ambitious blogger who wants to make a living online!

Sometimes I feel more like a failure already especially for an experienced blogger like me who have been in this game for nothing close to 4 years. When I see young fellow blogger who just came in “yesterday” and all of a sudden have their post get approved in various sites I feel even more disappointed.

When you consider the other methods of pulling in traffic, you’ll discover that it’s takes longer time. Be it seo, article submission, social bookmarking, etc. They all take time to achieve results.

If you need quick traffic, guest post is a sure way getting such targetted traffic in a short time. once you are approved and your post is well received by the “populace” on a high traffic site. Bam! Floods of traffic to your site.

Especially for the era that we are in. The era of guest post because everybody is getting crazy about guest post these days even the new blogger are hoping to guest post in order to promote their lactating blogs.

Judging from the influx of bloggers towards these direction, it’s more like all road now leads to “guest posting”.

All the other known methods of getting traffic is a close chapter for now but I believe very soon guest post will go out of trend. My instinct tells me that!

But I don’t want to imagine that for now anyway, What I want is to take full advantage of this moment while it is still the in-thing. Especially when it has to do with getting traffic!

This article is a voice for several thousands of bloggers out there, both young or old, male or female who have tried to venture into guest posting but have failed to actually make a breakthrough!

Don’t Ever Give Up Online!

I know of a guy who when he was a boy dreamnt of being rich with many cars, many houses and so many businesses here and there.

Even though there were setbacks still he chose to stick to his dream of being a rich man when he grows up. Along the line there were challenges but he was strong and dogged so he pulled through.

When he enrolled at high school, his dreams witness so many setbacks that even moving to the next class became a problem because he failed to pass an exam but he never gave up. He attempted the exam for the second time and passed.

When He about writing his final exams, he witnessed another setback as he didn’t do well in the exam, looking back from what he has been through in the past he was able to survive once again!

When he discovered the internet and that one could make money from it, he decided to give it a try and for good three years he made not a single dime but instead he became victims of scammers online yet he persisted.

He became the laughing stock of friends and families who told him he was only waisting his time that there was no money to be made online and that it was all lies.

He quickly drew conclusion that probably there were somethings he wasn’t doing right or some secrets he was yet to discover and made up his mind that instead of quiting now he’ll rather continue to search for that secret. He said to himself that “he had gone too far to look back now”!

At the end of the day he eventually figured out a way of making money online after all the disappoinments, frustration, mockery,… and his dreams of becoming rich when he was a boy starts to wear a new dimension.

Just like the saying goes “at the end of every tunnel there’s a light”.

As we speak he has one of the fastest growing blog online and this is just the beginning for him he said! His blog is currently making waves in the “money making for beginners” niche.

This just goes to show that in internet marketing, making money isn’t a piece of cake at all like most people think it takes a lot of guts, determination, resilience and patience to actually pull through.

Who is this guy we are talking about here? He is Joseph Eleyinte From Nigeria and I am the point of discussion who suffered so many setbacks on my way to the top. You’ll get there!

My question to you beginners; Are you ready to face setbacks? Are you ready to go the extra mile? Are you ready to sacrifice your time? If yes, internet marketing is for you. If no, find another thing to do!

What is Internet marketing?

Internet marketing in my opinion is a very wide spectrum of Promoting online products and services.

This might come in marketing products like wears or services like information or can be defined as a way of promoting products and services online.

Internet marketing is a way of making money online by promoting, selling, buying one thing or the other especially for beginners.

I can be promoting or selling products such as books, accessories, wears, cars, houses…virtually anything you can think of!

Which are usually been displayed on a website. Internet marketing is very broad as it relate to so many areas.

Many believe that internet marketing only deals in selling information, well! I tell you is much more than that.

You can sell anything being sold in the offline world on the internet. For example, if you sell clothes in the offline world you can bring it online for better exposure.

Millions of people around the world today use the internet as a form networking and in the nearest future it is believed that many more people are coming online. Statistics showed that everyday new people around the world get to know about the internet.

What does this mean? It simply means in the not too distant time, the internet will serve as the ultimate means of doing business and this is good news for us internet marketers especially beginners who hope to tapped in the unprecedented goldmine.

Internet marketing can be classified into three main fields such as;

Affiliate marketing

Blogging

Product creation
