Facebook is the hottest social networking site online. It gets millions of visitors to its site each day and it is the most visited websites in the world after Google.
When I first joined Facebook I was really amazed to see how many people were marketing their products and services on there!
The primary idea behind Facebook is to add friends and that is displayed in the profile. The reason why some marketers want friends is so that they will have an array of people they can market to, it is kind of like an email list in a way.
Facebook was originally built for the younger audience but as you can see it is evidently changing very rapidly because a lot of the older folks roam around there now.
The concept behind the “friends idea” looked like what is obtainable in high schools or colleges so you have to step outside your normal business state of mind and work at fitting in well.
Ask yourself what do they wish? It’s quite simple, all they want is to feel received and to have friends. They are not there to sell anything like products or others whereas they just prefer to have as many friends as possible and to feel good about themselves.
How come do you think people post pictures and ask for comments in return?
They want to feel good about themselves, it makes them feel more reassured and happy which people would cheerfully pay lots of money for but you will be giving it to them free of charge.
Why do you think Americans spend so much money each year on cosmetic surgery? Do they really need it? Of course not, but they want the attention of their peers and surroundings. So, make sure to leave comments for your friends. Be a super cool, but a super helpful friend.
You should not go on Facebook for the sole aim of making money online, put some thought into it first. Facebook is a business enterprise in itself, and you had better spend some time to build this effectively, nothing a software program can do by itself, it needs the human touch.
Facebook is a great learning ground especially about the“sociological” aspects of human beings. I learn new things every time am on Facebook.
I like to use facebook to gather feedback and understand peoples better because they are in a different frame of mind on there. It is like my own scientific laboratory in a sense.
You have to play by the rules in order make a sale, and it’s usually harder to sell anything on facebook because people are not just in the buying mood but I will be showing you how to make some cool cash from it.
Facebook is a powerful network and it is difficult for anybody to compete with it because of the large quantity of users.
You could add more features to other social networking sites and try to make it better than Facebook the truth is, I doubt if you’ll ever overcome this networking giant called Facebook.
You could try to make something better by adding more features and reducing the price but being the first is something that people will not forget quickly.
As it is popularly said “If you can’t beat them you join them”. This means that if you can not beat a competition you bury your ego and simply join them.
This is exactly what a lot of other social networks have done, they have used Facebook as a fuel to drive on. This is also what we shall be looking at in the next edition of this article trying to make some money from it.
