Artist, Band or Public figure; If you are a music star, sports star, actor, actress, head of states/presidents this page is good for you. Most popular musicians, actress, actors, etc…Use this medium in creating their fan page.

Community or Cause; If you’re an NGO or any other non-governmental group this is good for you.

Entertainment; If you’re an entertainer or comedian this is the page for you.

Brand or Product; If you’re promoting a brand or product this is good for you.

Step 3; For the purpose of this article we shall be using the company/organization or institution option as an illustration.

Enter your company/organization or institutions name, check the terms and conditions box and click submit! That’s all and you’ve eventually created a fan page.

You will then be taken to the main page where you can do some customizations or edit the profile such as entering the mission statement of your company, date of creation, etc…

How do I promote my Facebook fan page;

I assume here that you’ve decided on which fan page to create, the next thing is to look for how we can promote our newly created fan page.

Let’s look at three simple but effective ways by which we can promote our fan page;

1. Suggest to Your Facebook friends; One of the best ways to promote your fan page is to suggest it to your Facebook friends provided they share the same belief with you.

2. Use Facebook Advertisement; Facebook as we all know is the most visited site after Google averaging millions of visitors daily. This means that you can quickly promote your newly created fan page to this hungry visitors and you’ll see your fan base increase sporadically.

3. Tell your site readers; You can also promote your fan page on your site by including the “like box” feature on your site. This means that if your readers like your blog, they can easily become your fan by clicking on the “like button”.

Like I said before in the previous article that people on Facebook are not always in the buying mood and so would find it an insult if you sell anything to them.

You have to be careful on facebook not to hard sell, people hate it when you sell products to them on facebook. People don’t like it when the essence of being their friend is to sell some items to them. It’s annoying!

Why don’t you create something like a membership programme, like a fan page or group where your friends join in. How do you do this?

Create a fan page on a specific niche where people get to join, you could create a fan page on “money making online” that is how to make money online.

Your fan page will be exclusively for people who wants to make money online or who are looking for a way to make money online. It means people that have no business with money making wouldn’t join such a program. It’s a free will!

With this steps you’ve taken, I assure you are on the right path towards online success on Facebook because the people on your fan page now are those who willingly join your fan page for the sole purpose of what you are promoting. You didn’t force them!

This means that these categories of people have given you a go ahead to send email updates, newsletter, news, etc… and as such would not find it irritating if they should receive notifications from you.

Facebook can fetch you good money if you do the right thing and also know but apply the right strategy. If you know your way on facebook, it won’t be difficult for you to make money online.

Facebook is the second most visited websites aside Google, so you can imagine the traffic this “smallish” site is receiving! you had better make use of such stupendous high traffic of visits to your money making advantage!

I am thinking of an idea, why don’t you create a group on facebook it might be on any area maybe “money making” I don’t know! or any other niche you are into and invite your friends to join the group.

It will be better if you have many friends already because then you will have the privileged of inviting more friends to your group page.

From there you can get your friends to join your group page by offering them freebies. You know! everybody likes free stuff so it’s better to give away free stuff.

This will motivate your friends to oblige to your group invitation faster.

Another important facts is that, make sure your friends are actually targeted towards your niche. I mean they should share the same passion or ideology with you.

That’s why you must be very careful when choosing your friends on facebook, don’t just add anyone as your friend on facebook make sure they are people of like minds.

Facebook is the hottest social networking site online. It gets millions of visitors to its site each day and it is the most visited websites in the world after Google.

When I first joined Facebook I was really amazed to see how many people were marketing their products and services on there!

The primary idea behind Facebook is to add friends and that is displayed in the profile. The reason why some marketers want friends is so that they will have an array of people they can market to, it is kind of like an email list in a way.

Facebook was originally built for the younger audience but as you can see it is evidently changing very rapidly because a lot of the older folks roam around there now.

The concept behind the “friends idea” looked like what is obtainable in high schools or colleges so you have to step outside your normal business state of mind and work at fitting in well.

Ask yourself what do they wish? It’s quite simple, all they want is to feel received and to have friends. They are not there to sell anything like products or others whereas they just prefer to have as many friends as possible and to feel good about themselves.

How come do you think people post pictures and ask for comments in return?

They want to feel good about themselves, it makes them feel more reassured and happy which people would cheerfully pay lots of money for but you will be giving it to them free of charge.

Why do you think Americans spend so much money each year on cosmetic surgery? Do they really need it? Of course not, but they want the attention of their peers and surroundings. So, make sure to leave comments for your friends. Be a super cool, but a super helpful friend.

You should not go on Facebook for the sole aim of making money online, put some thought into it first. Facebook is a business enterprise in itself, and you had better spend some time to build this effectively, nothing a software program can do by itself, it needs the human touch.

Facebook is a great learning ground especially about the“sociological” aspects of human beings. I learn new things every time am on Facebook.

I like to use facebook to gather feedback and understand peoples better because they are in a different frame of mind on there. It is like my own scientific laboratory in a sense.

You have to play by the rules in order make a sale, and it’s usually harder to sell anything on facebook because people are not just in the buying mood but I will be showing you how to make some cool cash from it.

Facebook is a powerful network and it is difficult for anybody to compete with it because of the large quantity of users.

You could add more features to other social networking sites and try to make it better than Facebook the truth is, I doubt if you’ll ever overcome this networking giant called Facebook.

You could try to make something better by adding more features and reducing the price but being the first is something that people will not forget quickly.

As it is popularly said “If you can’t beat them you join them”. This means that if you can not beat a competition you bury your ego and simply join them.

This is exactly what a lot of other social networks have done, they have used Facebook as a fuel to drive on. This is also what we shall be looking at in the next edition of this article trying to make some money from it.

Facebook Users can look-up for friends and business associates by email address, school, university, by just typing in a name of an individual or his location.

When people become friends, they are capable of seeing all of each others profiles including private information like contact information, date of birth, pictures, etc.

Automated email notifications let users of facebook know when new friends have been added to their list or when individual has just sent a message to them within the system.

There are numerous applications available to add to a profile. They ambit from a list of Top Friends to movie compatibility with other people, and maps of where users have traveled.

These applications are created by individuals outside of Facebook’s employment who are better-known as Developers.
