Top 4 Easiest Ways to Make Money Online

The internet presents a lot of new opportunities, and these opportunities include more ways to make money. More and more folks are taking to the web to try to make a profit. Some are trying to earn extra spending money, others want a full time job, and some want to start an online empire. The odds are great that you fit into one of these categories; you are in very good company.

If you want to make money online, there are a lot of things you could try, and some work better than others. The following are just four of the top, easiest ways to make money online. As you try to set up various income streams to maximize your profits, explore these top ways to help you make money online and maximize your potential for even more profitability.

Start a blog.

Blogging is one of the best ways for absolutely anyone to make money. Blogging can mean big bucks; if they weren’t profitable, you wouldn’t see so many of them out there.

When you start a blog, you are opening up many streams of income for yourself, if you do it right. When you start a blog, you can make big money from many sources. With you blog, you can make money from affiliate marketing, pay per click advertisements, paid posts, placed posts and other channels. Additionally, you can use your blog to showcase your other skills and abilities; you can potentially get hired out to do other tasks by those who find your blog.

Be a freelancer.

It doesn’t matter what your particular skills are; the odds are great that you can be a freelancer. Writing, editing, photography, web design, graphic design, customer service, social media, research, sales, and more are all tasks that are often outsourced to freelancers. If you do one of these things, or a number of the other types of work that freelancers are asked to do, you can use the web to start your life as a freelancer.

While you can freelance without the net, the internet makes being a freelancer, finding jobs, and getting paid faster and easier than ever. To start, get your resume ready and join sites like Guru, oDesk, or eLance to get started.

Sell your stuff.

People have been making money selling off their used, unwanted items for as long as there has been money. This activity was limited often to the garage sale or swap meet before the internet. Now you have lots of web sites where you can sell these items to folks all over the globe for a big profit.

There are many sites you can use to sell items, but eBay and Craigslist are two of the biggest. Both are easy to use, but eBay lets you sell to folks internationally, and Craigslist is locally based and free. Utilizing both of these channels can help you make money on things that you might have otherwise discarded or simply given away.

Sell stock photos.

Stock photos are all over the web. Most of the images you see on blogs, websites, and even physical print brochures weren’t specifically taken for these mediums; they are stock photos.

Some of these photos are taken by professional photographers, but a lot of these have been snapped by everyday folks with their point and shoot camera and making money off it. Professionals and amateurs alike sell their photos on sites like iStockPhoto and Stock.xchng; being on these sites doesn’t guarantee sales, but you could end up with a top seller, especially if you cater to niches and keywords that are less competitive.

Learning How To Create A Blog For Beginners 2

We will be looking at steps to set up a WordPress blog;

If you read my last article, you’ll discover at the last paragraph I mentioned something about creating a WordPress blog. Yes that’s right! We are going to be creating a WordPress blog for your business. Okay!

Did I hear you ask, Why WordPress blog? Why not blogger or other ones? Well, these are the reasons why;

1. WordPress offers a very powerful content management system with free functionality.

2. WordPress is easy to install as many hosting sites now provide the ability to install WordPress blog just with the single click of a mouse.

3. Managing a WordPress blog is very easy like adding content including text, videos, pictures, etc seem so  easy.

4. WordPress blog are search engine friendly.

So those are the reasons why a WordPress blog is better than the other ones and the preferred choice of so many top internet marketers!

Another thing which I need to talk about here before moving ahead is to tell you that there are two{2} different types of WordPress blog:

1) http://www.wordpress.com(free)
2) http://www.wordpress.org(paid)

1) http://www.wordpress.com can host your site on the internet for free and this is what is often referred to as open source software. This basically means that it is freely available to anyone for use and modify.

The main disadvantage to this is that you get very limited space and customization options and it cannot be monetized. This means that you cannot have any affiliate
advertisements on your blog.

Also, bear in mind that technically, you do not actually own a blog which is hosted by WordPress essentially they own the blog and if your blog is taken down for whatever reason, that’s it, everything on your blog will be lost.

2) However, http://www.Wordpress.org provides the software you’ll need to create your blog but does not host it for you. For this you will be required to purchase a domain name and host your site on any web hosting service of your choice. This is far more flexible and there are many more options available to you.

If you are a serious internet marketer and are looking to earn a living online, you should really be thinking of getting your own domain name and hosting and that is what we are going to go through in this guide.

Without much ado, let’s get started into creating a blog; I’ll do my best to make it as easy as possible for you!

I strongly recommend for starters/beginners that you purchase a hosting plan that provides both domain name registration and web-host service together more like a 2-in-1 package instead of having to buy separately. There are so many hosting sites that provides these multiple service on the web like Ipage, by so doing you’re avoiding the strenuous process of having to buy domain and hosting separately. Cool isn’t it?

So when you purchase an Ipage hosting plan, one of the best and reliable hosting sites around they make installing your WordPress blog so! so! easy!!! This helps takes the headache off you.

With Ipage and simple script, installing WordPress has become so easy that even a newbie can do it without any professional assistance at all. I kid you not!

simple32 300x225 Learning How To Create A Blog For Beginners 2After that, the next thing is to log-in to your hosting account{which has been sent to you upon purchase}, navigate to your control panel and then look for the simple script icon. Double click it, follow some easy setup instructions and woo-lah! You’ve actually installed your blog and ready to start customization!

However after purchasing the hosting plan an email will be sent to you from them, make sure you keep those information for future purposes. They’ll contain information’s such as your username, password, name-servers, etc…

The next thing is to start customizing your blog by getting a theme. A theme is a template designed specifically for use to enhance the visual appearance and usability of a blog.

There are free WordPress theme and also premium ones{I mean the one you pay for} depending on your pocket and taste, you might want to go for anyone!

Here are some cool free WordPress themes sites to visit;
www.wordpressthemesbase
www.freewpthemes.net

But if you decide to go for the paid ones{premium}, I strongly recommend thesis theme specifically made for beginners who know little or nothing about HTML or coding, It’s the best of all themes.

With thesis customizing your WordPress blog is like eating “pizza” unlike the other themes{free/paid} where in-order to take your blog to the next level you’ll need some basic knowledge of Html or Css, but for thesis you absolutely don’t need any coding at all. Perfect for beginners! Check out thesis theme now!

Lastly, you’ll need to optimize your WordPress blog after you’ve successfully installed and set up your blog. Search engine optimization is a good way to help getting your blog in front Google and other major search engines.

The good thing is that SEO is one of the free ways of driving huge traffic to your new blog. If you do it right, you’ll reap the benefits.

I’ll like to touch on some areas regarding the settings of your blog which could be helpful to the SEO of your newly created blog. The settings will done in the dashboard of your WordPress blog once you have logged in. They are as follows;

An Interview With Lisa Irby Of 2Createawebsite.com

Lisa Irby is one of internet marketing divas and very knowledgeable at what she does. Lisa is a household name as she has excelled in the area of website creation, she has helped countless of people build their own site or blog. Most beginners looking for ways to create a website would probably have stumbled upon her popular site called www.2createawebsite.com through major search engines as it tops Google for targeted keywords.

Despite all her achievement, this “web chick” as she’s fondly called has managed to keep her head low. I am really honoured to have her share her experiences with us. We got to talk through mail and I thought I should share it with you my friends. It’s such an undeserving honour to have Lisa speak on this blog. With a lot of respect I present to you Lisa Irby!

May we meet you please! What’s your name in full?

Lisa Irby.

Tell us a bit about your background?

I have a degree in Business Administration have always had a great love for computers.

When did you get to know about internet marketing?

Thirteen years ago (1998) while I was in college.

How did your folks {I mean your spouse, friends, colleagues, etc} take it when they heard about your new found love for online marketing?

Most didn’t understand it.  They thought I was just “playing around”.  But I didn’t reveal a lot until I started making good money.

What were the mistakes you made as a beginner online?

I chose topics I didn’t have enough interest in.

What were the challenges you faced as a beginner?

I had trouble generating traffic mainly because of the answer above.  I kept choosing topics I wasn’t passionate about.

Did you ever think of quitting at a time?

No.  I love this so much. I always thought about my next idea instead of quitting.

I know that you didn’t just make money almost immediately you started, so when was that turning point?

My turning point was in 2002 when I created 2CreateAWebsite.com.  That was my first real tutorial site that offered information that a lot of sites weren’t offering at the time.  That’s when traffic and earnings began to soar.

Reading the contents of your blog one will know that you’re such a prolific writer, what’s the secret?

The secret is to use your own personal experiences as fuel for your content.  The more you do this, the easier it will be to write more useful posts.

Judging by the huge traffic your blog is receiving on a daily basis, one will assume that you’re already making a lot of money online. Isn’t it?

I’m doing very well – six figures per year.

What’s your own definition of success?

Finding something in life that allows you to use your talents to inspire, have fun and if making money comes as a result, that is a bonus.

For the benefits of my readers who loved to share from your wealth of experience. How can one be a successful blogger?

Start by realizing this is more than just about trying to make money by throwing up a blog or website.  If you don’t enjoy the full learning experience you are in trouble.  So start by digging deep and build a site on a topic that you are genuinely interested in.  It’s even more helpful when the site can be tutorial-based.

As a woman in a predominant man’s world so to speak, have you for once been intimidated by the male folk?

Not at all.  If anything it’s been an advantage because many appreciate seeing not only a minority, but a female who is in a male dominated industry.  Overall I’ve received great feedback.

What lessons have you learnt so far online?

Take your time.  This will not happen overnight.  Enjoy what you do and understand that the money will come as a result of what you enjoy.  Not the other way around.

Any word of advice for beginners/upcoming entrepreneurs?

Take the time to educate yourself on the many ways to make money online.  Everyone seems to be obsessed with blogs and Google AdSense, etc. but there are many ways to earn a good living online (sell your own products, drop shipping, eBay sellers, etc.)  Not everyone can be a good affiliate marketer.  Not everyone is a great writer so it’s important to find opportunities that match your own skills.

Your last note?

If you’re not having fun, you’re going to be in trouble. icon smile An Interview With Lisa Irby Of 2Createawebsite.com

An Interview With A Fast Rising Entrepreneur!

I recently had an interview with one of the fastest upcoming entrepreneurs of our time, Samuel Ayodele a young Nigerian entrepreneur who came to lime-light not too long ago. Samuel is no doubt very skillful in writing and has done a good job for himself as his blog megabizflakes receives several patronages each day. Despite his success he has managed to still remain modest and humble as ever.

Almost every top sites you visit you are sure to encounter Samuel’s comment there as he is always willing to learn from anyone. Dear readers it is with great pleasure I present this promising young man to you who has suddenly made a name for himself. I present Samuel Ayodele. Enjoy!

May we meet you please! What’s your name in full?

My name is Samuel Ayodele.

Tell us a bit about your background?

I’m 20years old, I’m from Nigeria and I’m an entrepreneur. I’m from the family of four and I’m the eldest son!

When did you get to know about internet marketing?

I got to know about internet marketing at the age of 18.

How did your folks {I mean your parent, friends, colleagues, etc} take it when they heard about your new found love for online marketing?

To be candid, my parents don’t know about my blog. My friends were thrilled when I told them about it and they are also interested.

What were the mistakes you made as a beginner online?

I made a lot of mistakes; I think the common one is not spending my time wisely.

Looking at the unfavourable condition in your country, take the issue of power for instance. How were you able to survive this?

It’s not easy. I guess you can testify to that. It’s has been long you send me this interview but due to poor internet connection, poor power supply. I’ve been unable to carry out the operation.

But if I may say, I guess I’m coping and I do find a way to scale through those mess. To be candid, it isn’t easy.

Did you ever think of quitting at a time?

Hmm.. Yeah I do.

Reading the contents of your blog one will know that you’ve done a good job on it. What’s the secret of putting such a great blog together?

I think finding a way to add real value to people’s life will definitely help you break new grounds in life. I don’t just publish any content in the sake of update your blog always. Any content found on my blog are content that will add value to people’s life and mine.

That’s one of the reason I don’t accept guest post from anyhow person (I mean people who guest post for the sake of traffic and they are not on the field) I believe you can learn from people who are there before you and not people who are blabbing and never done anything.

Judging by the huge traffic your blog is receiving on a daily basis, one will assume that you’re already making a lot of money online. Isn’t it?

No, I’m not. I love the game that’s why I don’t bother myself that much about money. I do earn online but not from my blog.

What’s your own definition of success?

To me success is a gradual process; even if you fail and you never give up, it simply mean you are moving to the next step and at the same time you’re succeeding. Because the moment you quit, you’re a failure.

For the benefits of my readers who loved to share from your wealth of experience. How can one be a successful blogger?

Though my niche is not about how to be a successful blogger, but I will give them my advice- be committed, choose your teachers wisely (because the internet is full of scammers) believe in yourself and persist till you succeed.

What lessons have you learnt so far online?

I’ve learnt a lot and I’m still learning. But the lesson I cherish so much is always network with the right people and bury your pride.

Any word of advice for beginners/upcoming entrepreneurs?

Follow your guts, pay no mind to the chicken mindset (people who are always scared of trying new things or people who let the world push them around) and always persist till you succeed. And please never ever give up!

Your last note?

Always make people happy!

Learning How To Create A Blog For Beginners 1

Hello friends, I discovered that the most questions on the mind of many beginners is “how do I start my own blog”? as you probably have heard from most top marketers that you can only start to talk about making money online when you have a site or blog.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying PTC, Survey, Data-entry, etc are not credible ways of making money online oh-no! but they’ll only give you stipends if you know what I mean. The only way {and I stand to be corrected} to make a lump sum of money online is through affiliate marketing and with this you’ll need a blog. Get it!

To really make money online, you’ll need to own a blog. That’s the truth! Most top internet marketers like Lisa Irby, Lynn Terry, Darren Rowse, etc are actually making the bulk of their income from their blogs.

Some of them make close to $50,000 or even more just with their blog every month. Yes! am not kidding, the facts are there as some of them display their monthly income for people to see.

The truth is, if you want quick money to do one or two things survey, PTC, Data-entry is good but if you truly want to make serious money online and quit your day job, you “gotta” get a blog because that’s where the money is right now!

Having your own blog might not make you a millionaire overnight but it certainly will fetch you good income on the long-run, “if and only if” you can persevere and put in some considerable amount of work into.

Having a blog gives you the confidence that you own a business already, as you can tell your friends, relatives, associate about it. It also opens so many avenues for your online adventures. It gives you the right to promote other people’s products/programs which is what we call affiliate marketing, sell adverts space and endless of many other opportunities.

Starting a blog is something you should really be giving a serious consideration right now especially if you’re thinking of quitting your day job and working online full-time or even part-time. You’ll need a perfect excuse for quiting your day job at least telling your families, friends, etc…don’t waste your time doing surveys that brings peanut that cannot even foot your phone bills!

Bearing this mind, I will love to show you how to create a wordpress blog, so that you can start promoting different affiliate programs available online and be financially independent. Alright!-;)

Stick around!

Remember this is a site that’s genuinely designed to help beginners make money online today!

Has This “Google Panda” Bitten You?

I am kind of confused right now because since two weeks ago I discovered that my blog wasn’t doing well as it should. I mean the Alexa rank keeps dropping every single day instead of appreciating which is peculiar to it before!

I also hear my friends in the internet marketing community complaining that their Alexa rank has dropped significantly as well over the last few weeks prior to the release of the recent Google algorithm.

Google incorporated recently released a new algorithm{as they usually do} called “Google panda”. They say this Google panda of a thing when it bites can be fatal to a blog. Isn’t it true? They say it is designed to bite sites that will disobey their rules and regulations.

1. They say it will “bite off” sites that practice what I would call “link spamming”. Link spamming is when you are crookedly trying to get links from different kinds of sites by either buying links from them, exchanging link with them, or joining some kind of link group in order to acquire backlinks. Google doesn’t like this at all!

They prefer you building your links naturally by letting others sites link to you and the quality the sites that links to you the better your ranking!

I means sites with a pagerank and high Alexa rank is much better than a site with no pagerank and low Alexa rank, Google gives much credence to this. So if sites with high Alexa and pagerank like this links to you, will have significant impact in the rankings of your site.

2. They say it will also “bite off” sites that pay less attention to the quality and uniqueness of their content. Don’t just write anything on your blog write something that’s unique, fresh and targeted to your audience.

Write more to your targeted audience than any other thing, if you are into “Money Making” let your write ups be tailored towards those audience. If you are into “Real Estate” let your articles be tailored towards them as well. That’s the idea!

3. They say this “Panda” will pounce on sites with less activity, what is the meaning of this? This means that if your site is not having enough activity in terms of regular content update and visitors might affect your site rankings in the search engines. So keep updating your blog by posting new content at least once a week.

4. They say this vicious Panda will also tear in pieces sites that it discover to be practising what I call “Ads spamming”. A situation where you cover almost half of your blog with all kinds of adverts, this will affect the rankings of your site one way or the other in the search engines.

The Google spiders like to craw on contents not ads, you make them angry by putting way too much adverts on your site and Google will definitely punish you for this.

These latest algorithm from Google is no doubt going to create a lot of scare in the Seo arena, I hear a lot of the “big guns” has been adversely affected already by this latest algorithm and unfortunately a lot of small sites will also be thrown by the way side.

Friends! If you have been adversely affected by this recent algorithm, cheer up! Learn your lessons from it{I have learnt mine} “What you should have done better” and move on! After all “A man’s fall is not the end of his life”!

Remember this is a site that’s genuinely designed to help beginners make money online!

Learning The Art Of Blogging 3!

Before we move to today’s topic of discussion, I would like say a few things about setting up a blog. Why am I bordering myself so much on this.

Well because I realized that as a prospective professional blogger you actually need to have basic knowledge of how to set up a blog even if you’re not going to need it or you have someone who sets it up for you already.

You must still be able to set up your own blog without the help of anybody, this gives you the option of tweaking it to any extent you want.

The naked truth is, not all hosting sites will help you set up your blog free of charge and if they do they’ll probably charge exorbitant fees which you might not be able to afford.

So first thing you need to do in order to set up a blog will be;

1. Purchase a hosting service from an hosting sites, it’s better you purchase 1 year and above hosting service than monthly because the longer the years the better. Most of them always provide a free 1 year domain name when you buy an hosting service from them.

2. Once you purchase a hosting plan, I’ll use Ipage for instance because I use Ipage and they’ve made it so easy to install the wordpress plugin. You’ll be given an account which comes with a password and username. Login with the password and username and inside your account, Look for the wordpress icon double click on it and follow some other simple steps. Simple!

3. The next thing you want to do is get a good theme whether free or premium doesn’t matter as far as it is classy!

Getting a quality theme for your blog is not something you should underestimate as a blog with a great theme actually suggest that you are a professional blogger. It’s gives your readers the impression that you actually know what you’re doing.

The internet especially blogging is too competitive these days as there are so many established blogs as yours in the same niche. So you’ve got to be at your game, although something quite simple is okay but at least add some style to it!

It’s always good if you have a cool theme you can tweak anytime like the background, colours, text, text-font, sidebars, header, etc without ever being a programmer or learning html at all! Fantastic isn’t it?

That’s not all, this theme also has powerful inbuilt Seo features. It’s gives you the opportunity of optimizing all the post and pages on your blog for search engine exposure.

That theme is called “thesis“. A brilliant work of Jason Pearson. Go get yours now!

Now your blog is all set up! Time to go and get traffic, just as it is commonly said that “a site without traffic is a site without life”. You need to bring in life to your blog that’s your readers, they are the “lifeline” of any site. They determine the success of your blogging career!

4. Traffic; Although I wouldn’t want to discuss in details as there are so many ways of getting traffic these days, all I’ll do is list all the traffic opportunities that I can remember. They are;

i. Seo

Learning The Art Of Blogging 2!

Previously we have learnt how choosing a particular niche of interest is what works best for any blogger and not just choosing a niche because other people are going for it or because there is a lot of money in it.

Most guys who have become successful today like Darren Rowse, Lisa Irby, etc are those people who see blogging not as quick money making scheme but as a way of expressing their feeling for something they are truly passionate about like sports, religion, politics, money making, photography, etc.

So you will be doing yourself a lot of harm if you are going for blogging because of the money and not for the interest you have in it. I tell you making money with blogging is not an easy meal as it could take a long time{most of the time years} to start reaping the “fruit of your labour”, during this time you’ll need a lot of enthusiasm to actually pull through!

We also learnt that setting up a blog is a good way of ushering in the journey of your blogging experience. Having a good blog is an understatement but having a successful blog just fits right in.

How can you have a successful blog? A successful blog in my opinion is a blog that has all the right attributes needed for success.

A good blog must possess the following attributes;

i. A good theme or template.

ii. A well organized navigation bar which is easily accessible.

iii. A good blog must have its own domain name like .com, org, net, etc.

iv. A good blog must have it’s own hosting service{not free hosting} and there are so many of them around with different hosting packages. Anyway, when it has to do with a reliable hosting service Ipage still offers the best at very affordable rates.

Setting up a blog is not difficult at all as there several hosting sites that will help you set up your blog in no time and at no extra cost! You can even set it up yourself within the hosting account given to you, all you need do is just install the wordpress blogging platform and “you are good to go”.

Take note; All hosting sites that I know make use of wordpress and not blogger even though these two are the most popular blogging platform but you’ll discover that all hosting sites still prefer wordpress to blogger, why? because wordpress has lots of functions which blogger doesn’t have. This makes it the number one!

Now let’s move to the topic of discussion which is;

3. Content; It is often said that “content is king”, well this is so true in the sense of it. One of the key factors to having a successful blog is to publish not just a content but a regularly updated fresh and unique content. Most successful blogs you see around have one thing in common and that is “fresh and unique content”.

They make sure their blog is regularly updated with fresh and unique articles and they also make sure their articles are not just seen scattered everywhere around the web.

Am not saying they can’t write and submit to article directories for traffic and other reasons but what I mean is that they would write their articles solely for their esteemed readers!

As a professional blogger, you need something unique that makes you stand out from the crowd. An article that is neither seen in Mr As nor Mr Bs blog, this makes your readers want to “kill for your blog” and I bet it they would always come for more by visiting your site regularly.
